Happy Winter Season - Winter Book

Vision
You knew your goal and you went for it. You took all the elements mentioned in the prompt and combined them in an interesting manner that reminds me of my childhood pop-up books.

Originality
I personally haven't seen anything like this. At least not lately or anything I remember. Therefore I will say this is definitely original.

Technique
Here is where we get into the technical aspect as opposed to the creative. The mixture of the blue background with the black and white scene was require for the prompt, I get that. The book itself, however, didn't need to be black and white. While it does indeed feel cold, I feel that the left hand page is a bit blank. The smoke rising up from the plow truck, which I understand as being the goal of that, needs to be blended in more with the blue background. It also needs to continue on the other side of the truck as debris doesn't just rise on one side. It arches out and produces a safe zone in the middle of that arch. Adjusting the light levels of the over all picture would help as well, as some things are washed out like the left side of the book, while other things like the tree on the right are bolder.


Impact
It left me feeling cold, and as though I were reading a pop-up book. I do believe the first one was part of the goal so that was achieved. The detailing could have made it more impressionable for me though.
